Chédiak-Steinbrinck-Higashi syndrome [shād′yäk-stīn′brĭngk-hĭ-gä’shē, -shtīn-] n.

  1. An inherited syndrome marked by abnormalities of granulation and nuclear structure of all types of white blood cells; it is often accompanied by hepatosplenomegaly, lymphadenopathy, anemia, thrombocytopenia, radiologic changes of bones, lungs, and heart, skin and psychomotor abnormalities, and susceptibility to infection.Chédiak-Higashi disease Chédiak-Steinbrinck-Higashi anomaly
