Queckenstedt-Stookey test [kwĕk′ən-stĕd′-, kvĕk′ən-shtĕt′-] n.

1. A test to detect the blockage of subarachnoid channels in which the jugular vein is compressed; when there is blockage of the channels, compression causes little or no increase in the pressure of the spinal fluid.
