According to this, 82,404 infected people have been confirmed in the USA, which is almost double the start of the week. In China, the number of reported infections is currently almost 82,000, but the spread of the virus has slowed down there. China has recorded around 3,300 deaths from the virus, according to the US experts.
According to the information, more than half a million people worldwide have already been proven to be infected with Sars-CoV-2. Such an infection has been confirmed in more than 510,000 people around the world, according to the university. Around 23,000 people have meanwhile been proven to have died of the novel lung disease Covid-19. The website of the US researchers is updated regularly with incoming data and therefore usually shows a higher level than the official figures of the World Health Organization (WHO).
Corona fear is causing online grocery stores to boom
