transient acantholytic dermatosis [trăn′shənt, -zhənt, -zē-ənt] n.
- A papular eruption that occurs chiefly on the chest and back in which the tissues are affected with acantholysis, lasting from a few weeks to several months and occurring predominantly in males over the age of 40.
