utriculoampullar nerve [yu-trĭk′yə-lō-ăm-pul′ər, -pŭl′-] n.

1. A division of the vestibular part of the eighth cranial nerve, giving off branches to the macula of the utricle and to the ampullary crests of the anterior and lateral semicircular ducts.
